A new mixzip is in the works. It doesn’t have any theme or specific basis, it’s just a bunch of stuff I’ve been listening to. I’ve spent quite a bit of time in my wooden leg and eye patch recently,* and I’ve found some phenomenal stuff. Some of it is brand new and some just brand new to me. Add in a 14 hour bus ride to sort through it all, and you have a mixzip almost ready to drop. To whet your appetite, here are videos of two songs that may or may not end up on the mix.

and second, “Early Morning Tony” by Felt, a group composed of two of my favorite rappers, Slug (from Atmosphere) and Murs.

*that clause, “I’ve spent quite a bit of time in my wooden leg and eye patch”, is actually just a euphemism for “stealing the shit out of some music”. I’m way too proud of it. The euphemism, that is.
